For nearly 30 years Ann Smith�s clinical focus has been in addictions, family systems and experiential therapy.  She currently operates a private practice group in Harrisburg, PA and also Breakthrough Healthy Living Workshops, a five-day residential group therapy program held monthly near Baltimore, MD. Ann is best known for her development of innovative residential treatment programs for adults from painful families. She designed and directed a five-day intensive program for Adult Children of Alcoholics from 1984�1991 at Caron Foundation helping over 14,000 individuals.  In March 2009, Ann Smith will take her Breakthrough program to Caron in a new facility on the Caron Campus in Wernersville, PA.  Known as �Breakthrough at Caron�, the new program is available to any adult seeking personal growth and improved quality of life and relationships.  

Her series of workshops �Second Chances at Love� have helped thousands of individuals and couples. Ann is known for her clear and entertaining teaching style delivering valuable information on a variety of personal growth topics.  Ann Smith has a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and is licensed as both a Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania.  She is the author of two books titled Grandchildren of Alcoholics: Another Generation of Co-dependency and Overcoming Perfectionism: The Key to a Balanced Recovery.
